A Numbers Game (Collecting Comics) August 9, 2008

Having collected comics on and off since well before high school, I’m quite familiar with the frenzy that typically accompany milestone issues. Heck, the comic book bubble that swept through most of the 1990’s was practically built around any number of new titles or anniversary issues that collectors hoped might just appreciate in value one day.

Those days are behind me, but I will say this: not all milestone issues are created equal. Why? For so many reasons, most of them laid out in a very intelligent article over at Comic Book Resources. How intelligent? Well let’s just say that I wish I could’ve written it myself, if anything because it’s great comics-related journalism.
